1. Study Strategies Vocabulary:
- a. flashcards: (n.) 抽认卡
- Definition: Small cards with information, used for memorization.
- Example: I use flashcards to memorize new vocabulary.
- b. record: (v.) 录音; (n.) 记录
- Definition: To put sounds or images into a form that can be stored and played back.
- Example: I record my teacher's lectures to review them later.
- c. practice: (v.) 练习; (n.) 练习
- Definition: Repeated exercise in or performance of an activity or skill so as to become proficient in it.
- Example: Practice makes perfect.
- d. take notes: 记笔记
- Definition: To write down important information from a lecture, book, etc.
- Example: I take notes in class to help me remember what I learn.
- e. ask for help: 寻求帮助
- Definition: To request assistance from someone.
- Example: Don't be afraid to ask for help if you're struggling.
- f. form a study group: 组成学习小组
- Definition: To create a group of students who study together.
- Example: I form a study group with my classmates before exams.
- g. underline: (v.) 在…下划线
- Definition: To draw a line under something.
- Example: I underline important words in the textbook.
- h. memorize: (v.) 记住,熟记
- Definition: To learn and remember something exactly.
- Example: I try to memorize the vocabulary before the test.
2. Grammar: Adverbs of Frequency
- a. Definition: Words that describe how often an action happens.
- b. Common Adverbs:
- Always (总是)
- Usually (通常)
- Often (经常)
- Sometimes (有时)
- Seldom (很少)
- Rarely (极少)

- c. Position in a Sentence:
- Before the main verb (except for "to be"). Example: I usually study at night.
