A. Past Simple Tense (一般过去时)
- 1. Affirmative Sentences (肯定句):
- Subject + Verb (past form) + Object/Complement (主语 + 动词过去式 + 宾语/补语)
- Examples: He lived in London. She wrote many books.
- 2. Negative Sentences (否定句):
- Subject + did not/didn't + Verb (base form) + Object/Complement (主语 + did not/didn't + 动词原形 + 宾语/补语)
- Examples: He didn't live in Paris. She didn't write any poems.
- 3. Interrogative Sentences (疑问句):
- Did + Subject + Verb (base form) + Object/Complement? (Did + 主语 + 动词原形 + 宾语/补语?)
- Yes/No Answers: Yes, I/he/she/it/we/you/they did. No, I/he/she/it/we/you/they didn't. (是,…是。不,…不是。)
- Example: Did he live in London? Yes, he did.
- Wh- Questions (特殊疑问句): When, Where, Who, What, Why, How
- Wh- word + did + Subject + Verb (base form) + Object/Complement?
- Example: When did he live in London?
- 4. Verb "be" in Past Simple (过去式系动词)
- was (I, he, she, it) / were (you, we, they)
- Affirmative: I was born in 1990. They were famous musicians.
- Negative: I wasn't born in 1990. They weren't famous musicians.
- Interrogative: Was he born in 1990? Were they famous musicians?
