A. Present Simple (一般现在时):
- Form: I/You/We/They + base form of the verb; He/She/It + base form + -s/-es
- Use:
- Habits and routines (习惯和日常活动): I go to school every day.
- Facts and general truths (事实和普遍真理): The sun rises in the east.
- Scheduled events in the near future (近期安排好的事件): The train leaves at 8 am.
- Adverbs of frequency (频率副词): always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, never. Example: I often read books in the library.

B. Questions with "What time...?" (关于时间的提问):
- Structure: What time + do/does + subject + verb...?
- Examples:
- What time do you go to school?
- What time does the class start?
- What time does the library open?
- Answering: At + time. Example: At 8 o'clock.

C. Telling Time (报时):
- O'clock: 整点, Example: It's 8 o'clock.
- Half past: 半点, Example: It's half past nine. (9点半)
- Quarter past: 一刻钟, Example: It's quarter past ten. (10点15分)
- Quarter to: 差一刻钟, Example: It's quarter to eleven. (10点45分)
- Minutes past the hour: 分钟数 + past + 小时, Example: It's ten past one. (1点10分)
- Minutes to the hour: 分钟数 + to + 小时, Example: It's twenty to two. (1点40分)
